Market-Goer: Mark Thompson

It was threatening rain today, as it often does in Louisiana. So the market was held indoors, in a warehouse next to the lot where the vendors usually set up on Saturday mornings.

I'm passing through New Orleans this week en route to New York by train. It's my second post-Katrina visit to a city where I lived for three years a quarter century ago.

Here's the market report from my last visit in March 2006.
