It hit 90 degrees in Central Park today. Was it just six weeks ago that we were knee-deep in snow around here? Though the weather said mid-summer, the produce on display said late winter (potatoes, parsnips, storage apples) and early spring (ramps). 








What I Bought:

Ramps, billed as "wild leeks," were piled high early in the morning, but the farmer who was selling them said they would be gone well before noon.
